Laura Mercier bronzer: review

I love bronzer. Not going to lie. It is a staple, not just in my make up bag, but in my life. Well, who doesn’t love a warm glow that looks like you’ve had a bit of time in the sun?! Especially this time of the year when it is becoming glaringly obvious that the sun is starting to hibernate.

Over the summer, whilst I had a bit of colour to my body, I was using one from NARS in “casino”.  However, even a bronzer junkie like me has to admit that having a bronzed face and a pale body isn’t the best look and therefore I have  swapped this for a lighter shade (actually it was in my bag that was robbed in Ibiza but it was time to lighten up anyway).

Laura Mercier matte radiance baked powder

I am now the proud user of Laura Mercier” matte radiance baked powder in Bronze 04, the colour of this is perfect for my skin tone and gives a warm glow without looking like I am channelling an oompa loompa.

It has a slight hint of shimmer, providing an iridescent touch but it is subtle enough to use in the day, especially for work when you don’t want to look like you have last night’s makeup on.

It offers good coverage and an even colour that actually lasts. My only criticism is that it the powder is quite fine so when you rum the brush over it, the powder can spread about, like onto the mirror.

Team this bronzer with these...

eco tools bronzing brushes: kabuki and retractable

These are seriously the best bronzing kabuki brushes I have ever used and sooooo soft! They are from a brand called “eco tools”, a company that will protect mother nature as well as making you gorgeous!
