No bake, raw, almond butter flapjack bites

I'm a serial grazer - I snack all throughout the day. Like a sheep.

Whilst snacking keeps you topped up and going until your next meal, it is important to snack right! That means no to sugary biscuits. Instead, say yes to homemade snacks. Like these....

No bake, raw, almond butter flapjack bites :-)

Homemade snacks though do not have to be time consuming - these no-bake flapjack bites take about 10 minutes to make!

All you need is...

1 ½ cups of oats
½ cup vanilla protein powder
½ cup of rice crispy
½ cup almond butter
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp vanilla extract

First off, using a food processor,
blitz the porridge oats into a flour

In a mixing bowl, combine the oat flour, protein powder and rice crispy cereals and mix

In a small pan, pop in the honey and almond butter to melt. Warning – this smells delicious and is tempting to eat out the pan. Don’t!

Take off the heat, and pour this syrupy goodness over the oaty mixture, and stir. This will help stick the oats together.

Add in the vanilla extract for added flavour. I also added a sprinkle of stevia for added sweetness without adding in too many calories

Pour the mixture in a baking try, lined with cling film for easy removal. Pop this in the fridge for a couple of hours to set. Once ready, cut it up into bite sized squares!

See, how easy is that!

Pop the in an airtight container, and they'll last for about a week in the fridge and still taste fresh!
